Darkwing Duck Annual Out Today, March 2nd! March 2, 2011

Posted by John D. Moore in Comics News.

And let me tell you, you could not ask for a better 8-page story than Tad Stones’s eight-page “The Untimely Terror of the Time Turtle,” with typically fantastic art by James Silvani.  It’s fun to watch regular series writer Ian Brill script a self-contained 24-page story in “Toy with Me,” featuring Quackerjack and gorgeous art from Sabrina Alberghetti.

The oversized special issue also contains an essay on Darkwing’s origins from creator Tad Stones (reprinted from the first trade).

The special incentive “C” cover is below (pencils: Tad Stones; inks: James Silvani; and colors: Lisa Moore).  Silvani also has a great blog post about putting it together, as well as his near-future attendance at some comic conventions.
